  VICE CHAIRMAN PEARCE  called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to           
 order at 3:05 p.m.  She noted Chairman Miller was not in attendance           
 because he was unable to get into Juneau due to weather conditions.           
                                                                               
 Vice Chairman Pearce brought  CSHB 137(FIN) am   (APPROP:                     
 SUPPLEMENTAL FOR FY 95) before the committee and directed attention           
 to SCS CSHB 137(FIN).  She stated the bill would be on the Senate             
 floor the following day.  There being no discussion, she asked for            
 the will of the committee.                                                    
                                                                               
 SENATOR SHARP moved that SCS HB 137(FIN), as amended with wording             
 of intent, be approved for calendaring.  Vice Chairman Pearce                 
 clarified that the intent language was adopted by the Senate                  
 Finance Committee and it will become a section of the bill.                   
 Hearing no objection to the calendaring motion, it was so ordered.            
 There being no further business to come before the committee, the             
 meeting was adjourned at 3:07 p.m.
