The Senate Rules Committee was called to order by Chairman
Jacko at 2:08 p.m.
The first order of business to come before the committee was
CSHB 45 (FINANCE) (APPROP: EDUCATION FUNDING/SCHOOL DEBT).
There being no discussion, CHAIRMAN JACKO requested a motion
on HB 45.
SENATOR HALFORD moved and asked unanimous consent that CSSB
45 (FIN) be approved for calendaring at the Chair's
discretion. Hearing no objection, it was so ordered.
Number 020
The final item for consideration was SB 69 (RIGHT TO USE
LAWFUL PRODUCTS). CHAIRMAN JACKO requested a motion on SB
69.
SENATOR HALFORD moved and asked unanimous consent that SB 69
be approved for calendaring at the Chair's discretion.
SENATOR LITTLE objected. A voice vote was taken with the
following result: Senators Halford, Rieger and Jacko voted
"yea;" Senators Little and Zharoff voted "nay." The
Chairman stated the motion had carried.
There being no further business to come before the Senate
Rules Committee, the meeting was adjourned at 2:12 p.m.
