              GOVERNOR'S FY 26 MENTAL HEALTH AMENDMENTS                                                                         
                                                                                                                                
Co-Chair  Hoffman   discussed  the  agenda,  which   was  to                                                                    
consider  budget   amendments.  He   noted  that   the  only                                                                    
amendment was  for contracts. He relayed  that the committee                                                                    
would stand at ease until 2:15  p.m. or until the arrival of

Co-Chair Hoffman  relayed that the committee  had planned to                                                                    
hear from  the Office  of Management  and Budget  (OMB) with                                                                    
information regarding contracts. He  noted that OMB had been                                                                    
invited to committee [but was  not present.] He referenced a                                                                    
letter  from OMB  dated May  2, 2025;  addressed to  the co-                                                                    
chairs of the  House and Senate Finance  Committees (copy on                                                                    
file), which  related to amendments  to the FY  26 operating                                                                    
and  mental health  budgets which  reflected the  bargaining                                                                    
agreement  reached between  the state  and the  Alaska State                                                                    
Employees Association.  He relayed that the  committee would                                                                    
be sending  the amendment to members  and having discussions                                                                    
at [Majority] Caucus.
