the University of Alaska Subcommittee  of the Whole closeout                                                                    
document (copy on file). He  referred to the narrative (copy

     BUDGET ACTIONS:                                                                                                            
     The Senate  Finance Budget Subcommittee  for University                                                                    
     of Alaska reviewed the  Governor's FY25 budget request.                                                                    
     The  following  are  highlights of  the  Subcommittee's                                                                    
     action.                                                                                                                    
                                                                                                                                
     Governor's Amended Budget Request:                                                                                         
     The Senate Finance Subcommittee accepted all the                                                                           
     Governor's requested transactions, with one exception                                                                      
     and a fund source change:                                                                                                  
          •   Accepted  the   Governors  total   amount  for                                                                    
          Property, insurance, maintenance,  and other fixed                                                                    
          costs but  changed $5.9  million from  UA Receipts                                                                    
          to UGF.                                                                                                               
          • The subcommittee is  not accepting the Governors                                                                    
          reduction  of  $200.0  to  reduce  Alaska  Tuition                                                                    
          Assistance  for Alaska  National  Guard and  Naval                                                                    
          Militia Members

Senator  Bishop MOVED  the FY  25 Operating  Budget for  the                                                                    
University  of Alaska  from the  Subcommittee of  the Whole,                                                                    
with  the  attached  Legislative Finance  Reports.  He  also                                                                    
moved  that  the  Legislative   Finance  Division  make  any                                                                    
technical or  conforming changes. There being  NO OBJECTION,
