  CALL TO ORDER                                                                
                                                                               
  Senator  Drue  Pearce,  Co-chair,  convened  the  meeting at                 
  approximately 9:05 A.M.

  In addition  to  Co-chair Pearce,  Co-chair Sharp,  Senators                 
  Torgerson, Phillips, Parnell and Adams were present when the                 
  meeting was convened.  Senator Donley arrived as the meeting                 
  was in progress.

  Frank Rue, Commissioner, Department of  Fish and Game; Kevin                 
  Brooks,  Director,  Administrative  Services,   DF&G;  Kevin                 
  Delaney,  Director,  Division  of  Sport  Fish,  DF&G;  John                 
  Shively, Commissioner, Department of Natural Resources; Nico                 
  Bus, Chief  of Financial Operations, Support  Services, DNR;                 
  Ron Otte,  Commissioner, Department  of  Public Safety;  Ken                 
  Bischoff,  Director,  Administrative  Services, DPS;  fiscal

  FY  98  Budget  Overview  was  conducted for  the  following
