1. CALL THE MEETING TO ORDER
Deb Fancher welcomed everyone and called the December 17,
2021, Senate Subcommittee meeting to order. The time was
10:33 a.m.
Deb Fancher directed Jerry Anderson to call roll.

Quorum present with five public members and two senate
members.
Deb Fancher asked if there was anyone online. There was
none.

2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Deb Fancher announced that the meeting was expected to last
about one and a half hours and entertained a motion to
approve the agenda.
Motion made by: Senator Tom Begich
There were no objections. The agenda was approved.

3. PUBLIC COMMENT
There was no public comment.
4. MOTION TO GO INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION into Executive
Session
Deb Fancher entertained a motion to move into executive
session to discuss matters which by law must remain
confidential under AS 24.60.160, Uniform Rule 22(b)
regarding executive sessions, and Rules of Procedure
Section 5: Executive Sessions and discussion of matters,
the immediate knowledge of would adversely affect the
finances of a governmental unit, and discussion of subjects
that tend to prejudice the reputation and character of a
person.

Deb Fancher called the meeting back to order and she
entertained new business.
