  The Senate Community & Regional Affairs Committee was called                 
  to order by Chairman Randy Phillips at 9:04 a.m.   He stated                 
  the   only   item  on   the   committee  calendar   was  the                 
  consideration  to  have  the  committee  introduce   a  bill                 
  relating   to  the   Alaska   Local  Boundary   Commission's                 
  recommendations for changes to Title 29.

  SENATOR LEMAN said  it was his  opinion that this  committee                 
  was the most appropriate place for discussion of the issue.

  SENATOR ZHAROFF agreed  that the committee should  sponsor a                 
  bill that relates  to the LBC's  recommendation and that  it                 
  should be brought the committee for discussion.                              
                                                                               
  CHAIRMAN  RANDY  PHILLIPS  stated a  bill  sponsored  by the                 
  committee would be introduced.
