CHAIRWOMAN DRUE PEARCE called the meeting of the Committee on                                                                   
Committees to order at 11:20 a.m.  Present were Senators Kelly,                                                                 
Miller, Halford, Ellis and Pearce, Chair.  The order of business                                                                
before the committee was to consider a Committee on Committees'                                                                 
report to change Senator Wilken's membership from the Community and                                                             
Regional Affairs Committee to the State Affairs Committee, to                                                                   
change Senator Mackie's membership from the State Affairs Committee                                                             
to the Community and Regional Affairs Committee, and to change the                                                              
meeting time of the Health, Education and Social Services                                                                       
Committee to Monday and Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. so that Senator                                                                  
Elton will not have a committee schedule conflict.                                                                              
                                                                                                                                
SENATOR KELLY moved to adopt the Committee on Committees' report.                                                               
                                                                                                                                
SENATOR ELLIS commented that the Minority continues to be                                                                       
concerned about its lack of proportional representation on                                                                      
committees, however it thanks Senator Pearce very much for working                                                              
this matter out.                                                                                                                
                                                                                                                                
CHAIRWOMAN PEARCE announced the motion to adopt the Committee on                                                                
Committees' report and move it to the full Senate for consideration                                                             
carried with no objection.                                                                                                      
                                                                                                                                
There being no further business to come before the Committee on                                                                 
Committees, CHAIRWOMAN PEARCE adjourned the meeting at 11:21 a.m.
