 Senate President Mike Miller called the Senate Committee on                   
 Committees to order at 11:10 a.m., and noted the presence of                  
 Senators Leman, Pearce, Taylor, Duncan and Miller.                            
                                                                               
 Senator Miller read into the record the following Committee on                
 Committees Report:                                                            
                                                                               
 "Your Committee on Committees has met and submits to the Senate for           
 its consideration the following change to the original Committee on           
 Committees Report:  Effective April 30, 1997 through the close of             
 business for the first session, Senator Miller replaces Senator               
 Kelly on the Rules Committee and Senator Leman will chair the                 
 committee.  Upon Senator Kelly's return or at the close of business           
 of the first session, the original Committee on Committees Report             
 will be in effect."                                                           
                                                                               
 Senator Pearce moved the adoption of the Committee on Committees              
 Report dated April 30, 1997.  Hearing no objection, Senator Miller            
 stated the motion carried.                                                    
                                                                               
 There being no further business to come before the committee, the             
 meeting adjourned at 11:41 a.m.
