CALL TO ORDER
CHAIRMAN JIM WHITAKER called the House Special Committee on
Oil and Gas to order at 10:20 a.m.
PRESENT
Committee members present at the call to order were
Representatives Whitaker, Porter, Dyson, Harris and Ogan.
Representatives Kemplen, Phillips and Smalley arrived as the
meeting was in progress. [time unspecified] Representative
Brice was not present.
SUMMARY OF INFORMATION
KEN BOYD, Director, Division of Oil and Gas, Department of
Natural Resources, presented the history of development and
current status of Point Thompson. In addition, Mr. Boyd
answered questions from committee members.
COMMITTEE ACTION
The committee took no action.
ADJOURNMENT
CHAIRMAN WHITAKER adjourned the House Special Committee on Oil
and Gas at 11:10 a.m.
