  REPRESENTATIVE JIM WHITAKER, Chairman, convened the House                                                                     
  Special Committee on Oil and Gas at 10:04 a.m.

  Committee members present at the call to order were                                                                           
  Representatives Whitaker, Phillips,  Dyson, Harris, Smalley                                                                   
  and Kemplen.  Representatives Porter, Brice and Ogan arrived                                                                  
  as the meeting was in progress.                                                                                               
                                                                                                                                
  SUMMARY OF INFORMATION                                                                                                        
                                                                                                                                
  JIM BRANCH, Production Manager Alaska for Exxon, presented a                                                                  
  company overview to the committee, including Exxon oil and gas                                                                
  production in Alaska; Natural Gas Liquids (NGLs) and                                                                          
  Gas-To-Liquids (GTLs) progress to date; and North Slope gas in                                                                
  general.  In addition, Mr. Branch answered questions from                                                                     
  committee members.
