HB 178 - UNIFORM COMMERCIAL CODE:LETTERS OF CREDIT
Number 0097
CHAIRMAN ROKEBERG announced the committee would address HB 178,
"An Act relating to letters of credit under the Uniform Commercial
Code; and providing for an effective date." He noted the committee
had a meeting during the interim regarding HB 178. Chairman
Rokeberg pointed out the bill is in subcommittee and said he would
entertain a motion to bring it back before the full committee.
Number 0141
REPRESENTATIVE JOHN COWDERY moved to bring HB 178 back before the
full committee. There being no objection, HB 178 was before the
full committee.
CHAIRMAN ROKEBERG indicated there had been several previous
hearings regarding HB 178. He asked if there was anybody in
attendance that wished to testify. There being nobody to testify
on HB 178, he then closed the public hearing.
Number 0209
REPRESENTATIVE JOE RYAN pointed out that in the committee file
there is a letter from the Alaska Bankers Association. The

Rokeberg."
Number 0231

with individual recommendations and the attached zero fiscal note.
CHAIRMAN ROKEBERG asked if there was an objection. There being
