CHAIR WES KELLER called the House Judiciary Standing Committee
meeting to order at 1:06 p.m. Representatives Keller, Foster,
LeDoux, Lynn, and Gruenberg were present at the call to order.
Representatives Millett and Pruitt were excused.

CHAIR KELLER announced that the only order of business would be
member introductions and committee overview.
CHAIR KELLER provided staff with an opportunity to introduce
themselves.

CHAIR KELLER announced that Representative Lynn would serve as
vice chair.
CHAIR KELLER then briefly outlined the anticipated agenda for
the next two upcoming meetings, and provided members with an
opportunity to introduce themselves and make a few comments.

CHAIR KELLER referred to the January 2013 legislative report
prepared by Legislative Legal and Research Services - "A REPORT
TO THE TWENTY-EIGHTH STATE LEGISLATURE Listing Alaska Statutes
with Delayed Repeals or Delayed Amendments and Examining Court
Decisions and Opinions of the Attorney General Construing Alaska
Statutes" - and recommended that members familiarize themselves
with its contents.
CHAIR KELLER then indicated that the committee might at some
point become the sponsor of a bill currently sponsored by
Representative Gruenberg, that being HB 60.
REPRESENTATIVE GRUENBERG, in response to a request, briefly
provided some information about that bill.
CHAIR KELLER outlined his preferences with regard to committee
protocol.

There being no further business before the committee, the House
Judiciary Standing Committee meeting was adjourned at 1:29 p.m.
