CHAIRMAN JOE GREEN called the House Health, Education and Social
Services Standing Committee meeting to order at 3:07 p.m. Members
present at the call to order were Representatives Green, Vezey,
Porter and Dyson. Representatives Bunde, Kemplen and Brice were
absent.
CONFIRMATION HEARINGS
CHAIRMAN GREEN announced that the committee would address
confirmation hearings. The first set of nominations were for the
Board of Education.

REPRESENTATIVE AL VEZEY made a motion to move the nomination of Roy
M. Nageak, Senior be forwarded to the full House without any
recommendations. Hearing no objection the nomination of Roy M.
Nageak was advanced.

REPRESENTATIVE VEZEY made a motion to move the nomination of
Marilyn Webb be forwarded to the full House without any
