CHAIR SARAH VANCE called the House Special Committee on
Fisheries meeting to order at 10:01 a.m. Representatives
McCabe, Carpenter, Himschoot, and Vance were present at the call
to order.
HR 8-FISHERIES BYCATCH REGULATIONS

CHAIR VANCE announced that the only order of business would be
HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 8, Encouraging the Department of Fish and
Game to adopt certain regulations relating to fisheries bycatch.
[Before the committee, and reported out of committee on 4/30/24,
was CSHR 8(FSH).]
CHAIR VANCE stated that there was a previous fiscal note on the
proposed resolution that was inadvertently left out.

REPRESENTATIVE MCCABE moved to rescind the committee previous
action on 4/30/24 in reporting CSHR 8(FSH) from committee.
There being no objection, CSHR 8, version 33-LS0731\S, Bullard,
4/29/24, as amended, was back before the committee.
CHAIR VANCE stated for the record that there is a new zero
fiscal note, which will be attached to the resolution moving out
of committee.

REPRESENTATIVE MCCABE moved to report CSHR 8, version 33-
LS0731\S, Bullard, 4/29/24, as amended, out of committee with
individual recommendations and the accompanying fiscal notes.
There being no further objection, CSHR 8(FSH) was reported out
of the House Special Committee on Fisheries.
