REPRESENTATIVE GARY  STEVENS, Co-Chair, called the  House Special                                                               
Committee on Fisheries meeting to order at 5:07 p.m.

Committee members  present were Representatives  Stevens, Wilson,                                                               
Scalzi,  Dyson,  Coghill,  and   Kerttula.    Also  present  were                                                               
Representatives Moses and Chenault.                                                                                             
                                                                                                                                
SUMMARY OF INFORMATION                                                                                                        
                                                                                                                                
DIANA  COTES,  Executive Director,  Board  of  Fisheries, gave  a                                                               
short overview of her department.                                                                                               
                                                                                                                                
DAN COFFEY, Chair, Board of  Fisheries, presented a report on the                                                               
recent  Board of  Fisheries meeting  in Anchorage.   He  answered                                                               
questions from committee members.

CO-CHAIR STEVENS called  for an at-ease at 6:00 p.m.  in order to                                                               
hear HJR  10 and HB 63.   [The minutes for  HJR 10 and HB  41 are
