CHAIR RAUSCHER called the House Special Committee on Energy
meeting to order at 10:16 a.m. Representatives Prax, Baker,
McKay, Schrage, and Rauscher were present at the call to order.
Representatives Armstrong and Wright arrived as the meeting was
in progress.

CHAIR RAUSCHER announced that the only order of business would
be an Overview, titled "Bureau of Ocean Energy Management."

The committee took an at-ease from 10:17 a.m. to 10:18 a.m.

CHAIR RAUSCHER directed committee members' attention to the
packet on their desks and acknowledged that there will not be a
presentation on the packet due to a scheduling conflict.

REPRESENTATIVE PRAX asked if a certain bill would be considered
by the Energy Security Task Force.
CHAIR RAUSCHER said that the bill will be part of the policies
moving forward and added that he isn't sure that all of the
bills would be based off of the presentation.
