SB 61-US PRESIDENT ELECT. POPULAR VOTE COMPACT 1:50:24 PM CHAIR CLAMAN announced the consideration of SENATE BILL NO. 61 "An Act relating to an interstate compact to elect the President and Vice-President of the United States by national popular vote; and relating to the selection of electors for candidates for President and Vice-President of the United States and to the duties of those electors." CHAIR CLAMAN stated that this is the second hearing, and his office did not receive amendments. He asked if there were final comments; finding none, he solicited a motion. 1:50:46 PM SENATOR TOBIN moved to report SB 61, work order 33-LS0288\B, from committee with individual recommendations and attached fiscal note(s). 1:50:57 PM CHAIR CLAMAN found no objection and SB 61 was reported from the Senate Judiciary Standing Committee.
