       SENATE BILL NO. 161                                                     
                                                                               
       "An Act  relating  to management  of certain  municipal                 
  assets by      the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation."                       
                                                                               
  Co-chair Sharp called the meeting to order.  Marilyn Wilson,                 
  staff to Senator Sharp was invited to join the committee and                 
  read a brief sponsor  statement into the record.   Mr. Peter                 
  A.  Bushre,  Alaska  Permanent  Fund  Corporation  was  also                 
  invited  to join  the  committee.   There  followed a  brief                 
  discussion  between Mr.  Bushre and  SFC  members.   He said                 
  monies should  be available  to local  municipalities.   Co-                 
  chair Sharp  noted a  CS version  of the  original bill  and                 
  pointed out two amendments; page  1, lines 7 and 8;  page 2,                 
  lines  21  - 23.    Senator  Parnell moved  work  draft CSSB
(FIN)  with   accompanying  fiscal   notes  and   without                 
  objection it was reported out.
