CHAIR CLAMAN announced  that the only order of  business would be                                                               
SENATE  BILL NO.  122,  "An  Act relating  to  the definition  of

Alaska* As  prime sponsor, presented  SB 122.{ as  prime sponsor,                                                               
presented SB 122.  She explained  that her office had reached out                                                               
to the Office  of Victims' Rights and had learned  that a defense                                                               
attorney [successfully]  argued in court that  two teenagers were                                                               
not  victims of  the crime  during  which their  mother had  been                                                               
slain  by her  husband  and  that the  children  had been  denied

CHAIR CLAMAN opened public testimony on SB122 and after                                                                         
ascertaining that no one wished to testify, he closed public                                                                    
testimony.                                                                                                                      
                                                                                                                                
REPRESENTATIVE KREISS-TOMKINS stated his support for SB 122.                                                                    
                                                                                                                                
CHAIR CLAMAN announced that SB 122 was held over.
