SB 185-SEX OFFENDER/CHILD KIDNAPPER REGISTRATION
1:33:15 PM
CHAIR FRENCH announced the consideration of SB 185. Before the
committee was CSSB 185(STA). He summarized that the bill was
heard when the committee last met, public testimony was taken,
and committee discussion took place. The Department of Public
Safety has and the Department of Law will submit an updated
fiscal note to reflect that notice of electronic address changes
must be given within one day rather than five days. The fiscal
impact did not change. Finding no further discussion or debate,
he asked for a motion.
SENATOR WIELECHOWSKI motioned to report SB 185 from committee
with individual recommendations and attached fiscal note(s).
1:34:10 PM
CHAIR FRENCH announced that without objection CSSB 185(STA) is
moved from committee.
