SB 178 School Terms
Explanation of Changes Ver. A to Ver. S
Section 1 Adds language granting the Commissioner of
the Department of Education authority to allow
districts to start up to a week before the first
Tuesday in September and clarifies that the start date
does not apply to districts with alternative schedules
approved under AS 14.03.030(c).
