SB 146-GAMING; ELECTRONIC PULL-TABS 1:40:37 PM CHAIR BJORKMAN announced the consideration of SENATE BILL NO. 146 "An Act relating to pull-tabs; relating to persons prohibited from involvement in gaming; and relating to the duties of the Department of Revenue." 1:40:49 PM CHAIR BJORKMAN stated a CS for SB 146 was received from Legal Services. 1:41:01 PM CHAIR BJORKMAN solicited a motion. 1:41:02 PM SENATOR GRAY-JACKSON moved to adopt the committee substitute (CS) for SB 146, work order 33-GS1054\R, as the working document. 1:41:14 PM CHAIR BJORKMAN [removed his objection.] He found no further objection and CSSB 146 was adopted as the working document. 1:41:37 PM CHAIR BJORKMAN stated he wants all stakeholders to work together in finding a solution to make pull tab fundraising work best for Alaska-based nonprofit organizations. 1:42:10 PM CHAIR BJORKMAN removed his objection and held SB 146 in committee.
