SENATE BILL NO. 137
"An Act extending the termination date of the Board of
Certified Direct-Entry Midwives; extending the
termination date of the Board of Nursing; extending
the termination date of the Board of Parole; and
providing for an effective date."

SENATOR JESSE BJORKMAN, SPONSOR, stated that the bill
extended the boards outlined in the bill title, and
followed the recommendations from the state auditors.
Co-Chair Stedman MOVED to REPORT SB 137 out of committee
with individual recommendations and attached fiscal notes.
There being NO OBJECTION, it was so ordered.
CSSB 137(FIN) was REPORTED out of committee with five "do
pass" recommendations, one "no recommendation", one new
fiscal note from the Department of Commerce, Community and
Economic Development, and one previously published fiscal
note: FN 2(COR).
