SENATOR  OLSON moved  to adopt  the  Senate Committee  Substitute                                                               
(CS) for  HJR 18,  labeled 25-LS0830\K  as the  working document.

SONIA CHRISTENSEN, Staff to  Representative Kyle Johansen, Alaska                                                               
State  Legislature, said  HJR  18 opposes  sections  of the  Next                                                               
Generation Air  Transportation System  Financing Reform  Act that                                                               
imposes air  traffic control user  fees, increases  aviation fuel                                                               
taxes  by  $0.50  per  gallon,  reduces  airport  funding  by  $1                                                               
billion,  and reduces  congressional  oversight of  the FAA.  She                                                               
noted one  change in the  CS on page 1,  line 11, where  the word                                                               
"registered" was replaced by "licensed".

LS0830\K,  from  committee  with individual  recommendations  and
