CHAIR KAUFMAN announced the consideration of HOUSE BILL NO. 395
"An Act approving the transfer of land owned by the Alaska
Railroad Corporation to the City of Nenana; and providing for an
effective date."
He noted that this is the second hearing of the bill, and the
intention is to take public testimony and any further questions
from committee members.

CHAIR KAUFMAN opened public testimony on HB 395; finding none,
he closed public testimony.

SENATOR MYERS expressed appreciation for the provisions laid out
in HB 395 that are conducive to community economic development
at little to no cost while encouraging forward movement for the
state. He expressed his support for the swift passing of the
legislation.
