MEGAN  HOLLAND,  Staff,  Representative  Andy  Josephson,  Alaska                                                               
State Legislature, introduced HB  280 on behalf of Representative                                                               
Josephson, prime  sponsor.   She stated  the proposed  bill would                                                               
extend the  termination date of  the Board of Marital  and Family                                                               
Therapy by eight years, as recommended by LB&A.

CHAIR  KITO announced  that public  testimony had  remained open.                                                               
After ascertaining  that there was  no one available  to testify,                                                               
closed public testimony on HB 280.

REPRESENTATIVE JOSEPHSON moved to report  HB 280 out of committee                                                               
with  individual  recommendations  and  the  accompanying  fiscal
