certain minors; and providing for an effective date."

CHAIRMAN LEMAN called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to order
at 10:54 a.m., and noted the presence of Senators Duncan, Miller,
Togerson and Leman. After reviewing the committee calendar, he
requested calendaring motions on the legislation.
SENATOR MILLER moved CSHB 127(FIN) (FOSTER CARE REVIEW
BOARD/MINORS) be approved for calendaring at the discretion of the
Chair. Hearing no objection, it was so ordered.
SENATOR MILLER moved HCR 6 (ALCOHOL-RELATED BIRTH DEFECTS
AWARENESS) be approved for calendaring at the discretion of the
Chair. Hearing no objection, it was so ordered.
SENATOR MILLER moved SB 114 (EMPLOYEES: POLITICAL CONTRIB &
ACTIVITIES) be approved for calendaring at the discretion of the
Chair. SENATOR DUNCAN objected. There being no further
objections, CHAIRMAN LEMAN stated the calendaring motion carried on
a 3-1 vote.
CHAIRMAN LEMAN recessed the meeting at 10:56 a.m.
