Chair Stedman stated that the meeting would most likely be
short and that there would likely be an additional meeting
later in the day.
Chair Stedman reminded the committee how objections would
be handled. If there was an objection, the committee would
make note of the item and set it aside. The committee would
continue to go through the other items in the department,
adopt them, and then come back to any item that had an
objection. He invited Pat Pitney, Director of the
Legislative Finance Division to join the members at the
table.
Chair Stedman informed that the committee would be
addressing open items in HB 205 based on the motion sheets
distributed to members and dated March 26th on the
Departments of:

Natural Resources

Department of Health and Social Service's budget:

HB 205 was HEARD and HELD in committee for further
consideration.
Chair Stedman noted that he planned to recess this meeting
to the call of the chair. He asked if there was any other
business or any questions or comments from Conference
Committee members.
Chair Stedman stated that the committee would put together
motion sheets for the capital budget. He thought it might
be two hours before the meeting was reconvened. He wanted
to address the final items the following morning.
