               CSHB 196(RES)-CARBON SEQUESTRATION                                                                           
                                                                                                                                
CHAIR SCOTT OGAN called the Senate Resources Standing Committee                                                               
meeting to order at 4:52 p.m. Present were Senators Dyson,                                                                      
Elton,  Lincoln  and  Chair  Scott  Ogan.  Senators  Wagoner  and                                                               
Seekins  arrived at  4:55. The  first order  of business  to come                                                               
before the committee was CSHB 196(RES).                                                                                         
                                                                                                                                
SENATOR ELTON  moved to  adopt the SCS  HB 196(RES),  version \Q.                                                               
There were no objections and it was so ordered.                                                                                 
                                                                                                                                
REPRESENTATIVE  BERKOWITZ,  sponsor,  said he  supported  the  \Q                                                               
version of the bill.                                                                                                            
                                                                                                                                
SENATOR ELTON moved to pass SCS  HB 196 (RES) from committee with                                                               
individual recommendations and attached  fiscal notes. There were                                                               
no objections and it was ordered.
