Senator Wilson explained Amendment 1.
Senator Kiehl surmised that without the amendment, a
candidate could deposit money into a legal fund after the
election and raise money for the legal fund. He wondered
whether those funds would be disclosed into the limited
list.
Senator Wilson replied in the affirmative.

idea of the amount of time that a person would have to deal
with paperwork from the Division of Elections.

Senator Merrick stated that she had a large military
constituency, and often military only vote in presidential
elections. She felt it may disenfranchise those people. She
also opposed the amendment

REPRESENTATIVE SARAH VANCE, SPONSOR, stated that the
changes would not be able to have concurrence on the
original bill.
Senator Bishop MOVED to REPORT SCS CSHB 129(FIN) out of
committee with individual recommendations and attached
fiscal notes.
SCS CSHB 129(FIN) was REPORTED out of committee with three
"do pass" recommendations, three "no recommendations", one
"amend" recommendation; and one new fiscal note form the
Governor's Office, and one new zero fiscal note from the
Department of Administration.
