            HB 118 REPORTING OF EMPLOYMENT ACCIDENTS                          
                                                                              
 CHAIRMAN LEMAN announced  HB 118  to be up for consideration.  He             
 asked if they were eliminating some possibility of communication in           
 trying to be consistent with federal law.                                     
  MR. PERKINS  responded that they had thought about that and with             
 technology being what it is, you can get access throughout Alaska             
 and it's not a concern of the department's.                                   
                                                                               
  SENATOR MACKIE  moved to pass HB 118 from committee with individual          
 recommendations.  There were no objections and it was so ordered.
