HB 113 OPTOMETRISTS' USE OF PHARMACEUTICALS

VICE CHAIR THOMAS announced HB 113 to be up for consideration.
[Before the committee was CSHB 113(HES).]
SENATOR COWDERY moved to adopt the proposed committee substitute
to HB 113, labeled 25-LS0411\O, Version O, as the working
document of the committee. There being no objection, the motion
carried.
VICE CHAIR THOMAS commented that public testimony had been
closed on the bill in a previous meeting.

SYDNEY MORGAN, staff to Representative Samuels, explained two
changes to the bill: one provision allowing injectable drugs for
anaphylactic shock effective as soon as the bill is passed, and
another regarding the effective date for all other injectables.

VICE CHAIR THOMAS explained that Chair Davis was excused from
the meeting, and said that his intention was to pass the bill
out of committee.
SENATOR COWDERY moved to report SCS CSHB 113(HES), referred to
as Version O, from committee with individual recommendations and
accompanying fiscal notes. There being no objection, the motion
carried.
There being no further business to come before the committee,
Vice Chair Thomas adjourned the meeting at 1:14:40 PM.
