CHAIR TARR announced the only order of business would be HOUSE
BILL NO. 111, "An Act relating to the oil and gas production
tax, tax payments, and credits; relating to interest applicable
to delinquent oil and gas production tax; and providing for an
effective date."
[Before the committee were the CSHB 111(FIN) and SCS CSHB
111(FIN).]
CHAIR TARR stated the Conference Committee on HB 111 was
operating under Uniform Rule 42.

REPRESENTATIVE JOSEPHSON moved to adopt the committee substitute
(CS) for HB 111(FIN)(efd fld), Version 30-LS0450\L.A.

SENATOR GIESSEL objected.

A roll call vote was taken. Representatives Josephson and Tarr
voted in favor of the motion to adopt CSHB111(FIN)(efd fld).
Representative Talerico against it. Senator Olson voted in
favor of the motion to adopt CSHB111(FIN)(efd fld). Senators
Stedman and Giessel voted against it. Therefore, the motion
failed by a vote of 2:1 (House) and 1:2 (Senate).

SENATOR GIESSEL moved to adopt SCS for CSHB 111(FIN), Version
30-LS0450\Q.

A roll call vote was taken. Representative Talerico voted in
favor of the motion to adopt SCS CSHB111(FIN). Representatives
Josephson and Tarr voted against it. Senators Stedman and
Giessel voted in favor of the motion to adopt SCS CSHB111(FIN).
Senator Olson voted against it. Therefore, the motion failed by
a vote of 1:2 (House) and 2:1 (Senate).

CHAIR TARR announced the Conference Committee on HB 111 has
failed to adopt either CSHB111(FIN)(efd fld) or SCS
CSHB111(FIN). She said the committee will begin work to seek
points of agreement, and at the next meeting will discuss both
versions of the bill. Documents comparing the multiple issues
of the bill have been provided to the committee and are
available to the public on the Bill Action Status Inquiry System
(BASIS).

SENATOR STEDMAN inquired as to the date and time of the next
meeting.

REPRESENTATIVE TARR suggested [6/12/17]. After a brief
discussion, she said the next meeting would be posted on BASIS.
