HB 110-PERM FUND; XFER DIVIDEND PROG TO APFC 6:03:26 PM CHAIR CARPENTER announced that the only order of business would be HOUSE BILL NO. 110, "An Act relating to the Alaska permanent fund; relating to permanent fund dividends and the dividend fund; transferring the dividend program from the Department of Revenue to the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation; relating to the duties of the Department of Revenue; relating to the duties of the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation; and providing for an effective date." [Before the committee, adopted as a working document on 3/6/24, was the proposed committee substitute (CS) for HB 110, Version 33-LS0371\H, Nauman, 3/7/24 ("Version H").] CHAIR CARPENTER gave a synopsis of the provisions under the proposed legislation. 6:04:49 PM REPRESENTATIVE GROH acknowledged that HB 110 would be one part of a fiscal solution, and he said he appreciated the efforts related to the bill. 6:05:23 PM REPRESENTATIVE MCCABE moved to report CSHB 110, Version 33- LS0371\H, Nauman, 3/6/24, out of committee with individual recommendations and the accompanying fiscal notes. There being no objection, CSHB 110(W&M) was reported out of the House Special Committee on Ways and Means.
