Explanation of Changes (copy on file):
Title: Removes reference to the examination and
treatment of minors; and relating to consent for
behavioral and mental health treatment for minors 16
years of age or older.
Previous sections 2-4, 6, and 10, deleted.
Section 15: Definition of "treatment foster home" is
updated to remove limit of 'not more than four'
children.
Sections 20 and 21: Effective date updated to July 1,
2028 for various sections.
Co-Chair Hoffman WITHDREW his OBJECTION. There being NO
OBJECTION, it was so ordered.
Co-Chair Stedman MOVED to REPORT SCS HB 36(FIN) from
committee with individual recommendations and attached
fiscal notes. There being NO OBJECTION, it was so ordered.
SCS HB 36(FIN) was REPORTED out of committee with three "do
pass" recommendation, four "no recommendations", and with
two new zero fiscal notes from Judiciary and the Department
of Family and Community Services.
