HB 14 ALASKAN MALAMUTE AS STATE DOG
11:22:11 AM
CO-CHAIR MCGUIRE announced HB 14 to be up for consideration.
[CSHB 14(STA) was before the committee.] She explained that the
idea of having an official state dog has been around for a long
time. She thought having the Alaska Malamute as the official
state dog and to have the Alaskan Husky as Alaska's official
sled dog. She asked for other ideas on that point.
CO-CHAIR WIELECHOWSKI, hearing no other ideas, moved to report
HB 14 from committee with individual recommendations and
attached fiscal note(s). There being no objection, CSHB 14(STA)
moved from committee.
