     Father, we are so grateful for the democracy we are able to                                                                
     live in.  The leaders who help secure the needs and desires of                                                             
     our great state. Be with our leaders as they work together to                                                              
     find solutions to difficult problems.  May you guide them to                                                               
     speak respectfully and with humility to one another.                                                                       
                                                                                                                                
     Lord, be with our officials here today and provide wisdom as                                                               
     they deal with the pressures of life. Give them wisdom, give                                                               
     them courage so that even when it is hard, they would                                                                      
     continue to go boldly and do what is right in your eyes.
