The Education Committee considered SENATE BILL NO. 228 "An                                                                      
Act relating to the duties of the Department of Education and Early                                                             
Development; relating to public education; and relating to opioid                                                               
abuse awareness and prevention" and recommended it be replaced

          CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 228(EDC) "An Act                                                                               
          relating to the duties of the Department of Education                                                                 
          and Early Development; relating to public education;                                                                  
          relating to opioid abuse awareness and prevention;                                                                    
          and relating to funds received from the national
