SENATE BILL NO. 170 "An Act relating to gaming; relating to                                                                     
bingo; relating to pull-tabs and electronic pull-tab systems; and                                                               
providing for an effective date" was read the second time.                                                                      
                                                                                                                                
Senator Hoffman, Cochair, moved and asked unanimous consent for                                                                 
the adoption of the Finance Committee Substitute offered on                                                                     
page 2123. Without objection, CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 170(FIN)                                                                   
"An Act relating to gaming; relating to gaming activities on Alaska                                                             
marine highway system vessels; relating to bingo; relating to pull-tabs                                                         
and electronic pull-tab systems; relating to the powers of the                                                                  
Department of Transportation and Public Facilities; relating to the                                                             
Alaska marine highway system fund; and providing for an effective                                                               
date" was adopted.

advance to third reading on the May 11 calendar.
