There being no objection, it was so ordered. HJR 44 was read the third time. Representative Stapp moved and asked unanimous consent to abstain from voting because of a conflict of interest. Objection was heard, and he was required to vote. 2026-04-29 House Journal Page 2342 The Speaker stated that many members may have a conflict and ruled that all members were required to vote. The question being: "Shall HJR 44 pass the House?" The roll was taken with the following result: HJR 44 Third Reading Final Passage YEAS: 40 NAYS: 0 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Allard, Bynum, Carrick, Costello, Coulombe, Dibert, Edgmon, Eischeid, Elam, Fields, Foster, Frier, Galvin, Gray, Hall, Hannan, Himschoot, Holland, Jimmie, Johnson, Josephson, Kopp, McCabe, Mears, Mina, Moore, D.Nelson, G.Nelson, Prax, Ruffridge, Saddler, Schrage, Schwanke, St. Clair, Stapp, Story, Stutes, Tomaszewski, Underwood, Vance And so, HJR 44 passed the House. Representative Stapp gave notice of reconsideration of the vote on HJR 44, and reconsideration was taken up later.
