IX, sec. 17(c), Constitution of the State of Alaska, from the constitutional budget reserve fund; and providing for an effective date." (technical title change) be adopted. Signing the report: Representative Josephson, Chair, Representatives Schrage, Stapp; Senator Hoffman, Chair, Senators Stedman, Cronk. Senator Giessel moved the Senate adopt the Conference Committee Report. The question being: "Shall the Senate adopt the Conference Committee Report?" Budget Reserve Fund Section(s) - Effective Date(s) YEAS: 19 NAYS: 1 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Bjorkman, Claman, Cronk, Dunbar, Giessel, Gray-Jackson, Hoffman, Kaufman, Kawasaki, Kiehl, Merrick, Olson, Rauscher, Stedman, Stevens, Tilton, Tobin, Wielechowski, Yundt Nays: Myers and so, the report was adopted, thus adopting: CONFERENCE CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 289 "An Act making appropriations, including supplemental appropriations, capital appropriations, reappropriations, and other appropriations; amending appropriations; capitalizing funds; making appropriations under art. IX, sec. 17(c), Constitution of the State of Alaska, from the constitutional budget reserve fund; and providing for an effective date." 2026-03-25 Senate Journal Page 2053 Senator Giessel moved for the adoption of the constitutional budget reserve fund section. The question being: "Shall the constitutional budget reserve fund section (Article IX, Section 17(c) Constitution of the State of Alaska) be adopted?" YEAS: 16 NAYS: 4 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Bjorkman, Claman, Cronk, Dunbar, Giessel, Gray-Jackson, Hoffman, Kawasaki, Kiehl, Merrick, Olson, Stedman, Stevens, Tobin, Wielechowski, Yundt Nays: Kaufman, Myers, Rauscher, Tilton and so, the constitutional budget reserve fund section was adopted. Senator Giessel moved and asked unanimous consent the vote on the adoption of the Conference Committee Report be considered the vote on the effective date clause(s). Without objection, it was so ordered. The Secretary was requested to notify the House.
