HB 263                                                                                                                        
The following, which was held in second reading from the April 8                                                                
calendar (page 2073), was before the House in second reading:                                                                   
                                                                                                                                
    CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 263(FIN) am                                                                                           
    "An Act making appropriations for the operating and loan                                                                    
    program expenses of state government and for certain programs;                                                              
    capitalizing funds; making supplemental appropriations; making                                                              
    appropriations under art. IX, sec. 17(c), Constitution of the State                                                         
    of Alaska, from the constitutional budget reserve fund; and                                                                 
    providing for an effective date."                                                                                           
                                                                                                                                
The Speaker stated that, without objection, Amendment Nos. 60                                                                   
through 69 and Amendment Nos. 71 and 72 would be moved to the                                                                   
bottom of the amendments.

 Delete all material and insert:                                                                                                
 “(f) The appropriation made in (e) of this section shall be reduced                                                            
by an amount equal to any increase in funding for the fiscal year                                                               
ending June 30, 2027, resulting from passage by the Thirty-Fourth                                                               
Alaska State Legislature during the Second Regular Session and                                                                  
enactment into law of a version of HB 374 or a similar bill increasing                                                          
the base student allocation, a version of HB 261 or a similar bill                                                              
changing how average daily membership is calculated, or a version of                                                            
HB 333 or a similar bill providing directive funding for technical                                                              
readiness and career training programs in school districts.”
