DEVICES/CLASS SIZE/FUNDING (Chapter No. 5, SLA 2025), a message dated June 2 from Speaker Edgmon was received stating the following members have been appointed to the Joint Legislative Task Force on Education Funding: Representative Himschoot, Co-chair Representative Story Representative Ruffridge Dept. of Commerce, Community, & Economic Development Division of Banking and Securities Alaska Business and Industrial Development Corporations Act 2024 Economic Report (as required by AS 10.13.590) State of Montana Senate Joint Resolution 3 "A Joint Resolution of the Senate and the House of Representatives of the State of Montana urging the United States Congress to revise commercial driver's license laws." Senate Joint Resolution 9 "A Joint Resolution of the Senate and the House of Representatives of the State of Montana declaring that the fiscal and monetary policies of the federal government are harming the people of Montana and the United States, and urging congress to discipline itself and address the ongoing deficits and debt of the United States before there is no longer any remedy to avoid hyperinflation or a default on the debt of this country." 2025-07-30 House Journal Page 1397 The following audit report was received from the Division of Legislative Audit, Legislative Budget & Audit Committee, as required by AS 24.20.311: State of Alaska, Single Audit for the Fiscal Year Ended June 30, 2024 HB 57 Pursuant to the May 20 veto override (page 1334), Legal Services assigned the specified chapter number to the following: SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 57(FIN) am S(reengrossed) "An Act relating to maximum classroom sizes in public schools; relating to education reports; relating to charter schools; relating to student transportation funding; relating to secondary school vocational and technical instruction funding; relating to the base student allocation; relating to reading proficiency incentive grants; relating to wireless telecommunications devices in public schools; relating to the use of tax revenue from highly digitized businesses; relating to the duties of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development; establishing the Task Force on Education Funding; and providing for an effective date."
