The Governor's transmittal letter dated January 20 follows:                                                                     
                                                                                                                                
"Dear Speaker-Elect Edgmon:                                                                                                     
                                                                                                                                
Under the authority of Article III, Section 18 of the Alaska                                                                    
Constitution, I am transmitting a bill relating to supplemental                                                                 
appropriations for the State’s operating budget for Fiscal Year (FY)                                                            
2025.                                                                                                                           
                                                                                                                                
This appropriation bill includes $65.0 million in unrestricted general                                                          
funds.                                                                                                                          
                                                                                                                                
The items in this supplemental appropriation bill are time sensitive to                                                         
ensure adequate and available funding for disaster response, as well as                                                         
investment in the development of the Alaska liquified natural gas                                                               
project.                                                                                                                        
                                                                                                                                
I look forward to working with the Legislature on the immediate
