Full Journal pdf2025-05-20 House Journal Page 1347 HB 35 A message dated May 20 was received stating the Senate passed: 2025-05-20 House Journal Page 1348 CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 35(STA) "An Act relating to the use and possession of electronic devices by prisoners." with the following amendment, and it is transmitted for consideration: SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 35(JUD) "An Act relating to the use and possession of electronic devices by prisoners; and relating to identification cards." (SCR 8 - title change resolution) HB 35 Representative Kopp moved and asked unanimous consent that the House consider the Senate message. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Representative Kopp moved that the House concur in the Senate amendment and recommended that the members vote yes. The question being: "Shall the House concur in the Senate amendment?" The roll was taken with the following result: SCS CSHB 35(JUD) Concur YEAS: 28 NAYS: 12 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Burke, Bynum, Carrick, Dibert, Edgmon, Eischeid, Elam, Fields, Foster, Galvin, Gray, Hall, Hannan, Himschoot, Holland, Jimmie, Josephson, Kopp, Mears, Mina, Nelson, Prax, Saddler, Schrage, Schwanke, Story, Stutes, Vance Nays: Allard, Costello, Coulombe, Johnson, McCabe, Moore, Rauscher, Ruffridge, Stapp, Tilton, Tomaszewski, Underwood Costello changed from "YEA" to "NAY" And so, the House concurred in the Senate amendment, thus adopting SCS CSHB 35(JUD). 2025-05-20 House Journal Page 1349 The Chief Clerk notified the Senate. The bill was referred to the Chief Clerk for enrollment.
