Senator Hoffman, Cochair, moved and asked unanimous consent the                                                                 
Finance Committee referral be waived on CS FOR HOUSE BILL                                                                       
NO. 1(STA) "An Act relating to specie as legal tender in the state; and                                                         
relating to borough and city sales and use taxes on specie." The                                                                
Finance Committee passed SENATE BILL NO. 162 (a similar bill)                                                                   
out of committee today with a do pass recommendation. Without                                                                   
objection, the bill was referred to the Rules Committee.
