The Finance Committee considered SENATE BILL NO. 259 "An Act                                                                    
relating to the basic salary schedule for compensation of state                                                                 
employees; and providing for an effective date" and recommended it                                                              
be replaced with                                                                                                                
                                                                                                                                
          CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 259(FIN) "An Act                                                                               
          relating to the compensation of state employees;                                                                      
          relating to the salary of the chief administrative law
