Representative Eastman objected and withdrew the objection. There being no further objection, CSHB 29(JUD) was adopted. Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Gray: Page 1, lines 1 - 2 (title amendment): Delete "a person's political party or" Page 1, line 5: Delete "political party or" Page 1, lines 6 - 7: Delete "a person's political party or" Page 2, line 6: Delete "(1)" 2023-05-12 House Journal Page 1065 Page 2, line 9: Delete all material. Representative Gray moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. There was objection. The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?" Amendment No. 2 was offered by Representative Eastman: Page 1, lines 1 - 2 (title amendment): Delete "based solely on a person's political party or a person's status as an elected official" Page 1, line 5: Delete "Decisions based on political party or elected official status" Insert "Insurance decisions" 2023-05-12 House Journal Page 1066 Page 1, line 6: Delete "A" Insert "Except as provided in (b) of this section, a" Page 1, lines 6 - 7: Delete ", solely because of a person's political party or a person's status as an elected official," Page 2, lines 5 - 9: Delete all material. Representative Eastman moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 2 be adopted. Representative McCabe objected. The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 2 be adopted?"
