Amendment No. 6 was offered by Representative Fields: Amendment No. 6 was published in House Journal Supplement No. 9. 2024-05-12 House Journal Page 3066 Representative Fields moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 6 be adopted. There was objection. Representative C. Johnson rose to a point of order regarding the germaneness of Amendment No. 6. The Speaker, citing Sections 402.4 and 728.1 of Mason's Manual, ruled the point well taken and ruled Amendment No. 6 out of order. Representative Fields appealed the ruling of the chair. The question being: "Shall the ruling of the chair be sustained?" Amendment No. 7 was not offered. Representative Saddler moved and asked unanimous consent that HCS SB 103(STA) be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading, and placed on final passage.
